To complement our full line of hand dryers, World Dryer introduced the first series of Airstyle cast iron hair dryers in 1955. All Airstyle hair dryers feature a safe and energy efficient, high powered 80 second drying cycle.

The Worldwind hair dryer, a wall-mounted unit that isolates electrical components from accidental water contact, automatically activates when hand piece is removed from base and deactivates when replaced. Available in white or beige, the hose and hand piece are insulated to prevent uncomfortable heat buildup .

AIRSTYLE SPECIFICATION GUIDE WORLD WIND SPECIFICATION GUIDE
Hair dryers shall be manufactured by World Dryer to include a 1/4" thick cast iron cover. Cover to be finished with porcelain enamel. Motor shall be of the universal type, 1/10 HP at 7500 RPM. Dryer shall deliver 7300 linear feet of air per minute (LFM). Dryers shall be activated by means of a push button control device. Timer shall be cam-operated mechanical type, designed to operate the hair dryer for no less than 80 seconds after activation. Recessed units shall include a 16-gauge steel wall-mounting box. Hair dryer shall be listed under examination service of Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc. and certified by the Canadian Standards Association. Cover and back plate shall be made of high impact ABS plastic with flexible hose permanently attached to direct air flow. Unit shall be equipped with 2 speed dry/style switch and shall deliver 50 CFM and 3500 LFM at maximum rated voltage. Hose exit shall be fitted with a rotating nozzle for ease of handling and be thermally insulated for low heat loss and maximum efficiency. Nozzle shall be fitted with air deflection vanes to provide uniform air flow and listed under examination services of Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc.
