Sloan Vacuum Breakers And Flush Connections
Most Sloan flushometer valves are furnished with a Vacuum Breaker Flush Connection to prevent back siphonage.
Sloan V-600-A and V-500-A Vacuum Breakers are designed and tested to ASSE Standard 1001.
Vacuum Breakers are required by code by All United States and many international
plumbing codes when the valve is connected to a potable water supply.

When valves are installed on a non-potable water supply system vacuum breakers are not required.
To furnish the valve less Vacuum breaker specify the "XYV" Variation.
Offset Vacuum Breaker
High Rough-in valves (model 115 & 116 and BPW-1000)
can be furnished with an offset vacuum breaker.
"O" Variation
Specify: 1", 1-1/2" or 2" Offset
Sloan flushometers are supplied with vacuum breaker and flush tubes sized
to meet the spuds commonly found on most water closets and urinals:
Water Closet: 1-1/2"
Urinal: 3/4" or 1-1/4"
 
If a valve model is required with a different diameter
Vacuum Breaker or inlet tube use the following variations;
"T" Variation 1-1/2" Flush Connection
"U" Variation 1-1/4" Flush Connection
"V" Variation 1" Flush Connection
"W" Variation 3/4" Flush connection
Trap Primers "TP" Variation
Vacuum Breakers can be provided with a Trap Primer Fitting - See VBF-72-A Trap Primer
