The Ultimate in Flexibility...Designed With User Convenience in Mind
The Sloan Series 900 Hydraulic Flushometer System is designed for user convenience. It features a push-button actuator that can be remotely positioned from the valve. This flexibility also makes the Series 900 Hydraulic Flushometer ideal for difficult installations.

Sloan Hydraulic Flushometers use line water pressure to actuate the valve. The push-button actuator is connected to the flushometer valve through flexible tubing. When the button is pressed, the pressurized water flows back to a cartridge in the valve. The cartridge trips the Sloan Royal Diaphragm Assembly to deliver an accurate flush.

The Sloan Series Hydraulic Flushometers can be supplied for both concealed and exposed installations. Hydraulic valve models are available for water closets, urinals and service sinks and can also be furnished with Sloan's Slimline® Bedpan Washers.

User Accessibility
The push-button actuators supplied with Sloan Hydraulic Flushometers meet the installation and operational requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other Accessibility Codes and Requirements. Push buttons require less than 3 pounds (1.4 kg) to actuate and can be positioned to meet an individual user's particular needs.

Installation Flexibility

Unlike a mechanical push-button valve, concealed valve installations with varying wall thickness can be handled with a single valve model. The remote push button also allows you to install the valve in the ceiling above the fixture, saving space and improving security.

How Hydraulic Flushing Works
hydoper.gif (11870 bytes) Pressurized water flows from the Flushometer to a push-button actuator
When the button is depressed, water flows back to the valve and fills the actuator cartridge
The water pushes a spring-loaded plunger in the cartridge which trips the diaphragm kit
The flushometer then delivers an accurate, reliable flush
