Control Stops
Sloan flushometers are provide with a Series H-700 Bak-Chek Control Stop. The purpose of the Control Stop is to control the flow rate of water through the valve, act as a shut off and to keep the valve pressurized in the event of a momentary loss of water supply pressure.
Most exposed valve models are provided with an Adjustable Tailpiece, Screwdriver Angle Stop.
Most concealed valve models are provided with an Adjustable Tailpiece, Wheel Handle Angle Stop.
Foot Pedal valve models are provided with a Ground Joint Tailpiece, Straight stop.
Valves can be supplied with alternative Stops to meet installation requirements.
Straight Stop All Straight Stops are ground joint 1" supply inlet only	"E" Variation
Screwdriver Stop Standard on Exposed Valves	"F" Variation
Wheel Handle Stop Standard on concealed Valves	"K" Variation
Ground Joint Stop Ground Joint Tailpiece connection is recommend for all Soft Water applications	"GJ" Variation
Sloan Adjustable Ground Joint flushometers Royal, Gem and OPTIMA Plus flushometers are available with an Adjustable Ground Joint Tailpiece for the replacement a Coyne and Delany, Watrous, old Sloan and other flushometers that incorporated a ground joint connection. This allows installation of the valve without removal of the old Supply Stop. See Royal and Gem models 112 XD (closet) and 188 XD (Urinal)
To furnish a valve less the Supply Stop use the "XD" variation
