Hot Water Extender Tempering Valves* for Large Commercial and Institutional Installationss
For use on larger hot water supply systems to mix hot and cold water to extend the hot water supply for a variety of applications. Special model **No. N170L-M2 available for car washes and other low temperature applications between 100°F and 130°F.

Standard adjustable range 130°F to 180°F. Max. temperature 210°F. Max. pressure 150 psi.

*Warning: Watts Hot Water Extender Tempering Valves cannot be used for tempering water temperature at fixtures. Severe bodily injury (i.e., scalding or chilling) and/or death may result, depending upon system water pressure changes and/or supply water temperature changes. Anti-scald devices should be used at fixtures to prevent possible injury.
The Watts hot water tempering valves are designed to be installed at or near the boiler or hot water heater. They are not designed to compensate for system pressure and/or temperature fluctuations and should not be used where anti-scald devices are required.
The Watts valves should never be used to provide ""anti-scald"" or ""anti-chill"" service.

**The N170L-M2 (low temperature) model is ideally suited for use in a radiant heat application. Other models of this valve must not be used in radiant heat applications. When installing the N170L-M2 valve in a radiant heat application, the components of the radiant heat system must be of materials with a construction capable of withstanding the high limit output temperatures of the heating boiler. If you are uncertain as to the product's adaptability for your application, please consult an authorized representative before installing or using the product.
