Ball Valves Series FBV/FBVS Bronze, Full Port Ball Valves
Excellent for throttling and balancing applications for a full range of non-abrasive liquids or gases, where the minimum flow required is 20% to 100% of valve capacity. The quality of the FBV Series will measure up to your strictest standards but at an economical price.

PTFE seats. Pressure rated at 600 WOG for 1/2"" - 2"" sizes, 400 WOG for 2-1/2"", 3""
(non-shock) and 125 psi saturated steam. Temperatures from 0°F to +350°F at 50 psi. Imported.

FBVS - solder ends

Designed to be soft soldered without disassembly using a low temperature solder (420°F). Other solders, 95/5 tin/antimony (460°F) or 96/4 tin/silver (430°F) can be used, however, extreme caution must be exercised to prevent seat damage. Higher temperature solders will damage the seat material. ANSI B16.18 states that 50/50 solder sweat connections should not be subjected to greater than 200 psi at 100°F. Operating pressures should be decreased as temperatures are increased.
