Designed for non-health hazard applications, the Series 709DCDA-OSY double check detector assembly backflow preventers are used to prevent the backflow of non-potable fire sprinkler water into the potable water supply system and to detect system leaks or unauthorized use of the sprinkler system.

Specifications
Sizes 3"" to 10"". Handles supply pressures up to 175 psi. Handles water temperatures up to 110°F constant, 140°F intermittent.
Industry Standards: USC Manual 8th Edition*. Meets or exceeds the following standards: ASSE Std. No. 1048; AWWA Std. C510-92; UL Classified File No. EX3185. Listed under CSA B64 standard.
